The Heckscher Museum of Art has selected my piece “Ornamental Maples” to be in the Long Island Biennial, a juried exhibition featuring work by artists of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island, NY. Inaugurated in 2010, the Long Island Biennial exhibition comprises over 50 works, selected from 310 entries by jurors Dan Christoffel, Artist-in-Residence, Adjunct Professor, Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus; Renato Danese, Danese Corey, New York; and Helen A. Harrison, Director, Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, East Hampton. Paintings, sculpture, photography, works on paper, and mixed media work encompassing diverse styles and subject matter are included in the exhibition. View all submitted entries on the Long Island Biennial Website Gallery, providing an overview of current artistic practice on the Island.
The Long Island Biennial is sponsored in part by Suffolk County. The Show runs from August 16 to November 30, 2014. 2 Prime Avenue, Huntington, NY.
